Introducing... Jill Kenton
Jill Kenton came to TV and radio after more than a decade in the fashion industry in the UK and USA which has given her strong expertise in the fashion and lifestyle arena. She is confident and versatile with a clear English rose girl next door voice with husky overtones, and is a striking personality whether in front of the camera or behind a microphone. She is just as happy talking about fashion or general lifestyle topics, and she is available for presenting and voice-over work.
Jill currently presents the weekday afternoon slot at Time 106.6FM, broadcasting to over 30,000 listeners a week covering the areas of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey and the Heathrow Area of London. It is a music show playing hits from the 80s to the present. She also delivers the news, weather and traffic updates.
Jill has appeared on BBC TV's BBC Breakfast, , and she also worked on an exciting show called Raise Your Game, which offers insights into the lifestyles of sports stars. Jill's contribution was to offer insights into how clothes can help you look and feel good while working out.
Jill has worked on a variety of radio shows: a daily afternoon show on Hayes FM Radio; JCOM Radio, where she hosted a weekly evening show and has also contributed to BBC Five Live and BBC London Live, reporting on topics from sports bras to Liz Hurley and people's eating habits.
Jill hosted an innovative six-part series on Sky TV called Dress My Mate, in which she challenged friends to select each other's outfits. She also presented a corporate in-house DVD for Lloyds TSB, which was distributed to branches throughout the UK. Jill offered expert advice on hair, make-up, the company dress code, and projecting the right image for success with customers.
Before launching her career as a presenter, Jill was Marketing Director at lingerie company Rigby & Peller. While she was there she worked on TV with Trinny and Susannah, and made specialist contributions to other TV programmes including Fit Farm (Channel 4), Bra Wars (Discovery), Ten Years Younger (Channel 4), and Extreme Makeovers (Discovery).
